The most perfect day for Scarlet!
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Southwind Acres Wedding Venue and especially the owner, Kim! From the very beginning, Kim was incredibly professional, helpful, attentive, and genuinely invested in making Scarlet’s wedding day everything we dreamed it would be.
Kim went above and beyond to help us every step of the way. She handled all of the décor beautifully and made sure every detail was taken care of. More importantly, she made sure that we were fully prepared for the wedding day, answering questions, helping us stay organized, and making sure nothing was overlooked.
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but having someone like Kim in your corner makes such a difference. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to help made the entire experience so much easier and less stressful. You can truly tell that she cares about her couples and wants their day to be absolutely perfect.
Southwind Acres is a beautiful venue, but what really makes it special is the care and personal attention Kim puts into every wedding. We are so grateful she was part of Scarlet’s special day and would highly recommend Southwind Acres to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an owner who truly goes above and beyond!

Beautiful Venue!
Southwind Acres was the perfect place for my wedding day! It’s has a cozy and rustic barn aesthetic, so well decorated and set up! Kim made sure everything was organized and that it all went smoothly! It was so easy to plan with her and she provided so many different decorations to choose from, as well as setting up all the decorations I brought for the event! It was very affordable, and she even offered a few different options for the ceremony to take place! She is so easy to work with! She listened to every detail that I wanted to include and made it happen! Very efficient and informative! Kept up with keeping things tidy and did amazing clean up, as well as making sure all my items were rounded up and ready to take home at the end of the night! Kim and her husband are such good people, running such a beautiful and intimate venue, and I will 100% recommend for anyone else’s wedding!

From the very beginning, Ms. Kim went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She took the time to understand the brides vision and brought it to life while also offering thoughtful guidance throughout the entire process. Her knowledge and experience made such a difference, and we always felt confident we were in great hands.
Communication was excellent from start to finish—quick, clear, and always helpful. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Ms. Kim made it feel easy and enjoyable.
The décor options were absolutely stunning, with so many beautiful choices that allowed us to create the perfect atmosphere for our son and daughter in loves special day. Everything came together even better than we imagined.
If you’re looking for a venue where you’ll feel supported, heard, and truly taken care of, Southwind Acres is the perfect choice. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This was our first stop on our venue list and we left after our tour knowing we had found the perfect place for our big day! Beautiful landscaping, ceremony and reception hall separated by a few steps through the parking lot. Multiple places to get married on the property as well! Mrs. Kim was so pleasant to work with and always made sure to answer any questions quickly! Our big day was perfect with Mrs.Kim,Mr. James (her husband) and their bartender! Don’t hesitate to reach out!

Kim and her team at Southwind Acres did an amazing job with our daughter’s wedding and reception. It was a beautiful day and we were so happy we chose Southwind Acres for her special day. The venue was spacious and beautiful and in addition to being affordable, met all of our needs. Kim’s experience and knowledge planning a wedding made decision making a breeze. She is extremely organized and every detail our daughter wanted on her special day was there. The wedding ceremony and reception flowed beautifully under Kim’s direction. The Wedding Of My Dreams
This place is AMAZING- if you are looking for a place to have a country, rustic, boho, Or really any type of wedding they will make it happen for you. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Kim and James Connes are amazing people they made sure everything was perfect and exactly how I wanted it they went way over my expectations and did more than I could have asked. Even with circumstances of inclement weather is still turned out amazing...

She knows exactly what to do!
My husband and I went into this whole wedding planning process completely blind, but Ms Kim was an absolute godsend. She has so much experience with weddings and held our hand for a lot of the process. Her decorations were perfect for what we wanted and all of her suggestions and guidances went a long way in making our day perfect. Daughter's wedding
My daughter got married here at Southwind Acres. Everything was wonderful. The day could not have gone any smoother. Kim and her husband were great. They had everything setup & ready when we arrived. I loved that they provide tons of decoration options and setups. She even has recommendations for caterers and DJ, almost anything you could think of. The venue is beautiful and cozy. We had a wonderful time and created great memories here. I would highly recommend this venue!

We were looking for a beautiful space for a small summer wedding for our oldest daughter. She instantly fell in love with the charm of Southwind Acres. Even a hurricane couldn't stop them
Not only is this venue breathtaking, affordable, and magical; but the owners themselves are the BEST! We unfortunately and unknowingly picked the day the day right after we the hurricane to get married. There was no power at all and the storm had definitely made a huge mess. Mrs. Kim and her husband spent hours upon hours outside cleaning up all the mess, hanging battery powered spotlights, and finding any other alternatives we needed. In the words of literally guest "you couldn't even tell there was no power". Our wedding went off like nothing ever happened and turned out to be the most MAGICAL night ever. If you want a team and venue who is 100% dedicated to their clients, is especially the bride, then this is where you need to go. They have so many decorations to choose from and will try their best to make your vision come to life. I couldn't recommend them enough. (If you look at the picture, those are battery powered spotlights. I bet you didn't even notice)
