How we Began to create your vision:

Southwind Acres was built on a 5 acre wooded lot from the ground up.

We had a feeling that this amazing piece of land would be best setting for a dreamy, warm, rustic but chic style venue.

Totally surrounded by nature, we discovered two gorgeous oaks hidden in the back of the property.

We knew immediately that this would be the places for beautiful outdoor ceremonies.

When it comes to views, Southwind Acres has some of the best. Not only will you get the rustic beauty of the barn itself, but you can take advantage of the lush green lawn outside.

These hold infinite possibilities for breathtaking photos.

Southwind Acres is one of the most affordable venues in the Midlands/Lake Murray area.

Just imagine how beautiful everyone will look in this wonderful Bridal Suite.

It has makeup stations, plenty of mirrors, including a full length mirror so you can really get the WOW effect when you finally get to see yourself and of course several right makeup lights.

AND you can start your day as early s 8 AM , with no extra charge

Groomsmen Suite

Our Groom's suite is just the place to chill out before the wedding.

It is a space that has a couch for relaxing, plenty of room for getting into your attire and even a well lit makeup stations for those who want to look just right for their new bride.

So many of our grooms and groomsmen enjoy just hanging out in there and having a beer and shooting the breeze.
