200 guest inside or a combination of inside and outdoors under the tent for a flowing reception
Pets are allowed for the ceremony and photos. All pets must be kept on a leash and have an attendant during the time they are on the property.
Unfortunately we do not allow pets in the venue.
Yes Southwind Acres is ADA compliant
Alcohol is allowed at the venue. We do require you to use Southwind Acres bartenders for alcohol
Yes, we do require a non-refundable deposit of $500 ( that goes towards the price of the venue) and a signed contract to secure your date
We do accept cash, checks, Venmo and Zelle.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday all items brought in the venue must be cleaned up by 11:00 pm. The only cleaning requirement is that you must make sure the guest and receptions tables are cleared of all food and drinks.
Yes we do. We have white wedding chairs with padded seats, round and farm-style tables with enough seating for 200 guest and linens that range from $0. to $15.00 per table depending on your preference.
Yes we have parking at the venue and overflow parking at the entrance. We provide a site shuttle that will bring you from the overflow parking area down to the venue.
We have done all the leg work and have several recommended VRBO and Air B&B’s less than 2 miles away. Please contact us about getting this information
The gates to the venue will be locked but you are more than welcome to leave your car in the overflow parking area. As a matter of fact, we encourage those that feel unable to drive to do so as we are very concerned about everyone’s safety
No. The only kind of candles allowed at Southwind Acres are the battery operated flameless candles.
No, the only kind of open flame allowed at the venue is the sterno burners under the food. Since we have team members staying with you during your event, they keep a close eye on the flames. We are surrounded by woods and any kind of fireworks or sparklers could easier start a forest fire. If you want a sparkler sendoff, they do make a flameless sparkler that looks fabulous.
You work directly with them. Southwind Acres does NOT make a commission because we want your food options to be as elegant or affordable as your budget allows.
Yes, we have hundreds of decorations, table runners, and signs for you to choose from. As a matter of fact, all you have to bring is your food and cake and you could have a beautiful wedding with everything we provide.
